Took the truck in Tuesday and they are going to replace the drive shaft in the next week as well as a damaged tire with a sidewall cut. They say there are 350 drive shafts available. Wow! I don't know if that is locally, statewide or what.

Well. I thought it would never happen. But my truck decided to start clunking on me. I already have an appointment set with the dealer to get it fixed. 23000 miles and it starts now

I keep telling myself "OK any day now it's going to start".

Well shit, this isn't good news. I'm just over 22000 so should I expect maybe the same.

I have a 2010 Raptor with a 6.2L. Build date was 8/31/10. I'm experiencing a chirp when I accelerate from a stop. Out of curiosity I checked the part number on the driveshaft. It's 9L34-4602-GD. There's another tag ono the driveshaft that reads: DRV/SHT ASY 4X4 5.4L.

Previous posts state driveshafts that qualify for the recall are: BL-3V4602-AB and BL-3V4602-BB.

I won't have an opportunity to get with my dealership until later next week and I'm interested in knowing if anybody might have any thoughts about this. Did I have the wrong driveshaft installed at the factory? I can't find my driveshaft's P/N anywhere to confirm its application.

Do you think I qualify to have my driveshaft replaced, even though TSB 11-5-7 is technically for 2011 Raptors? Thanks!

Against what many wanted everyone to believe, not every truck had this. I've got around 27k on mine, drive the piss out of it off road and have not a peep out of my driveshaft. If you don't have it, don't sweat it and if it ever appears, you know there's a fix for it.
