Dyno run today. Any recommendations?

Traction control on or off? Any other recommendations?

Its not going to matter since the computer freaks out anyway and turns it off. Run in tow haul, I did both and it really does give you a ton more power. 4th gear is closest to the 1:1

T/C all the way off. T/H on. Maybe airdown some?



Edit: some weight over the axle might help. Make a video for show & tell, lol.

Theres no way a raptor will even come close to spinning the tires on a dyno. that takes well over 1000 instant hp.

Would it be better if he uses the M shift instead of D in T/H mode?

Think the only way to keep the rear locked is Off Road mode...

No need to lock the rear end. If you have m mode (2011) then yes use that. 4th gear. ORM wont work when the traction control realizes the front tires are stopped and the backs are hitting 100mph. I wanted to get numbers from every way (standard, tow/haul, and ORM) and it wont.

Depends on the dyno. I have seen some Dynojets that they had to overinflate the tires because the truck was wider than the dyno.

Be sure you have a full tank of quality 93 octane fuel.

Unfortunately, you'll have to dyno in 3rd gear (incorrect) because you'll hit the factory speed limiter in 4th.
