well, that sucks. now its been determined its an intermittent problem and wont happen all the time. just be careful putting the window down. you dont want to have the issue when weather turns wet and its stuck down

Same thing happened intermittent on my '07 FX4. Turned out the switch needed cleaning from corrosion probably from a few spilt beers.

I had a similar issue a few times.... pressed the switch and it didnt go down. Pressed it again... down it goes. Figured I pressed the switch at a weird angle or something.
