That's what that is? Looks like a duck to me on the button. I've always called it duck mode.

I occasionally get a Downhill Mode fault upon startup. Occasionally - maybe once a year. I think it's a software glitch.

Is there a sensor on tranny? Maybe some wires or plug-in I could check?

It is designed to go off and on. Especially if you touch the throttle. I never use mine anymore. Don't go slow enough for it work......
