I got a quote to get some parts wrapped on my truck.

Hood-$250+
Roof-$500
Fender flares-$125+
mirrors-$75+

Said he needs to see my truck first in order to give me real quote. How do those prices look?

Those sound pretty high to me.
I had my hood done matte black. Material was, 5x5 3m vinyl off amazon $60. The shop charged me something around $50-$60 to install it for me. I was all in at or around $120. I can't quite remember exactly as it has been a grip but that is pretty close.

Now it obviously depends on whether or not you are having something special other than one standard solid color. And you are paying an up-charge being in The People's Republic of New York.

All that considered though that seems pretty stupid to me.

I had: whole roof down to the pillars, top part of mirrors, partial bedsides all the way down and whole tailgate, rocker panels right behind the cab, front fenders, rear bumper to match the rest, front bumper valance wrapped in matte black, the hood I did myself.
Total cost was: $1386

I had the entire Truck Wrapped in Satin Black with 1 Coat of Ceramic Pro for $2,200. It protects it beyond what I thought and is well worth the purchase. If you are in the Southern California area I have a good joint for you to go to:

Wow. I went to the shop yesterday to speak to the guy about my truck. He gave me the following prices. These are the real prices after finally seeing and talking in person.

Hood-$300
Roof-$400
Flares-$600
Rear bumper end caps-$150

He is doing the mirrors for free. He also gave me prices for a stage 3 full correction which is $800 and that does not include an additional $750 to do Ceramic Pro. I asked him about a full wrap and he said about $5K. This is WhipSkin.com in Mount Kisco, NY. He is only 20 min. or so from me and seems like a straight forward guy.

Is that satin black on your flares? I am stuck between doing everything satin black or a satin charcoal. Anymore pics of the flares? Closeups in comparison to the factory black paint?

Flat black with clear, looks sometimes a dash grey.

Wrapped the entire truck except for the top of the roof. XPEL Ultimate $4K. Its paid for its self already. If you are going offroad wrap the sides. Roof just above the window isn't a bad idea as is the hood, but the sides take the brunt of the assault.
