So I just got back from two weeks of leave in Ga. I am stationed in VA so I had a 10 hour drive home two weeks ago and a 10 hour drive back this monday. On my trip I noticed something. I would set the cruise control on 80 and fly on down the highway. when I would come up behind another car I would tap the brakes to cut off the cruise control and slow down to the other cars speed. I had my parking lights on during the sunset and twilight hours and then at night my lights. Every time I came up behind another vehicle they switched lanes to get out of the way as fast as they could! It happened every time I had alteast my parking lights on. while back home I had just my parking lights on and came up behind a guy on a little country road and he pulled right off the damn road to let me pass! You would think I had blue and red lights in the grill! now that I am back in Va beach area people are doing it here too! WTF! What gives? not that I am complaining I will take people getting out of my way any day! Its not like I am coming up behind them like I am going to run them over or anything no matter how slowly I ride up behind people they still seem to try and get out of my way. Has any one else had this happen?

I get that here too. If you come up on people on the freeway at a decent speed they will dart right out of your way. Its pretty nice.

haha people here on 2 lane highways will move over, backroads, depends how aggresive you get if they move outta the way or not.

Good luck with that in CA, when i picked mine up i spent about 65 hours on CA roads, not a single damn person got out of my way when i came running up on them in the fast lane.

Oh i forgot, in California there is no such thing as a fast lane.

yeah they dont do that in chicago either.... infact they just see truck and either are in one of those little shitbox foreign cars and think they better, or they just see truck and think im slow..... they are both wrong......

Yeah, come to Illinois and see what happens. They pull IN FRONT OF YOU. You can cruise the interstate for 50 miles in a pack of cars because both lanes are going 60MPH and the stupidmotherfucker in the left lane will not speed up, slow down or drive the fuck off the road and crash, burn and explode.
