I'm at Wal-Mart now... Looks like there is a recall on that seat. Looks like it's the pro-ride and performance ride models.

I believe that recall is only for the top tether though, and not the buckle harness like the consumer reports article is talking about. They mention the other recall in their article.

Yeah the recall sent a strap with a loop on each end. You loop it around the metal bar mid seat, then run the top tether through it, then to the anchor point. It changed the angle the tension came from and took up a little more strap which made cinching it down easier, or at least I think.

Nice seat. I had a recaro seat for my daughter when I had my jeep srt8. Worked and looked great.
