I really wish I could trust a set of recon smoked tails. Not sure if it's worth the hassle or even possible cop attraction

i ran recon tails on my f250 for years. They're so bright you don't get bothered much by the police. Way brighter than a regular tail light.

I'm more concerned with the reflectors not being seen. Some pics they look visible others not so much.

There is a small opening on the bottom of the oval. With a small flathead screwdriver or something of the sort, gently pry the oval out. The farther in you can get the screwdriver, the better. After that is off you can unscrew the backing plate.
