College is not for everyone! Most of the people I know its 50/50 split of ones that use the degree and ones that it was a total waste of $$. I know just as many wealthy people without any college education as I do with a college education. I also do not put what income a man makes as to the value of the man, being wealthy does not always go hand and hand with being a successful, family strong, & contributing member of society.

Military in a useful field, income to pay for Raptor, go to college on your earned GI Bill for something that you enjoy. Done...

I didn't go to college but I had some friends in a fraternity. Best decision ever! Got to enjoy the "fun part" of college and make money at the same time [emoji1303]

I know I am like 10 secs old so ignore me here, but this whole thread could break down into 2 groups of people saying college is a waste of money don't do it or go to college to enjoy the party scene....both points are correct in many aspects except he said he wants to do engineering. Which means college is 100% worth the time and money, but it also means if he wants to actually pass any of the classes he will have to drop any party scene for the study your ass off scene...

I know a number of engineers who still found time to enjoy college, but they definitely took it more seriously than me.

I'm no shining example (for anything) but I managed 21 credits/semester, AROTC with two extracurricular programs - Ranger Challenge and Forrest Raiders, worked 30-40hrs per week, maintained a 3.95gpa and drank my face off. I also kept 2-3 ladies in the stable at any given time.

You can do anything if you put your mind to it.

Yeah but you're just an overall badass.

OP, YMMV.

I'm finishing up my last quarter of college and just got my raptor. Do college and work during it and by the time you're done with college the raptor prices will be cheaper and 2017 models will also be cheap.

Can vouch was one of them! 4.5 years of Electrical Engineering... Extra half year may or may not have been related to beer, bars, and women.

I am simply basing that assumption on the fact this thread was started in the first place...he probably will need to put in that extra time.....get that extra credit :win:
