Best Brakes System, that won't break bank

So looks like its time to update my brakes.

What is the best brake system to upgrade to or a good one that won't cost an arm and leg?

I have stock wheels 17" so can't go Big Breaks.

I have had slotted R1 Concepts for the last 10k miles and still love them for the price.

They're OEM, powder coated, use power stop rotors, will work with OEM lines/ master cylinder/ etc. All the reviews that I've researched say they're legit.
