I took the wife for a mother's day drive on La Salle Pass off hwy 24 west of Woodland Park, Colorado and it was really our first long four wheel dirt road drive. My wife couldn't stop saying how awesome the trucks ride was and what a wonderful mother's day it was to get out with our truck. Most of the trail was very rocky and rutted, great for four wheel vehicles but the last 1/3 of the trail smoothed out to open space with lots of woops to take runs at! A couple of footnotes, my Bakflip 1 stayed in place without shifting but one thing for sure I need a tailgate seal badly! We hit a large bump that I thought I took way to fast and we were braced for the impact but to our surpise it was the smoothest part of our drive! The shocks are just unbelievable when you really compress them. I have to say driving the dirt road at 60 mph I couldn't feel that much differance from the highway.
