AUX 110 Plug...

What can this actually run?...I tried plugging a portable Craftsman small aircompressor into it and it didn't do shit. Green light just blinked. WTF is it good for?!

I use it for my Dewalt radio/charger. Works great until my daughter gets back there and kicks the cover off.

Did you RTFM? (My 2010 Raptor doesn't have that outlet).

I believe it's only rated at around 150 watts (check your manual) which I think is just over 1 amp.

That outlet is really only for cell phones, laptops and stuff like that. If you need to power a high-drain electrical accessory you'd be better off hooking up an inverter to the battery.

Be sure to check the amp rating on your compressor first.

That plug only works if the truck in on also. Was the truck running?

The truck is not worth a dam....time to unload it on a sucker Tray. ;-)

It kept my handheld radio charged throughout the SnoBall weekend. Probably suitable for a laptop too.

It's hard to believe Ford makes a truck like this. Damn 110v outlet won't power a city of tents out in the wilderness.

And I was hoping to power my 1.5K Watt linear with it..... Maybe we can wire it 220 and juice it up a bunch!!!!
