It's happened to me. I thought the tranny was slipping and did t do anything about it. Next day I ran out of gas and said to myself..."self, I bet this engine is blown". I mean it's the only logical explanation.

Same happened to me, so I sent a certified letter to Ford stating I beat and abused it and almost definitely caused the issue as well as voided my warranty. This way they would be sure to cover my claim at the dealer.. :ROFLJest:

Aw, so that is what happens when you press the Jill Descent button doing 80 mph. Of course it's going to blow up... Duh!
