I know that there was an engineering hold that Ford placed on all the 2011 F-150's. It was something PCM related and it delayed shipping on a lot of trucks. I'm betting that may be why your truck was delayed a bit.

I also heard about a PCM problem with the 2011, figured they had it fixed by now.

Well that explains why mine was delayed as well. Delivery date is now 4 weeks out instead of next week.

This thread has some data on the problem:
2011 F-150 - Blue Oval Forums - Page 2

Mine finally hit "released" status from "awaiting shipment" on Friday. Don't know how good of a thing this is, we're hoping it means what it says. Then again Ford is showing an ETA in the past.

Randy is busting ass trying to get my Raptor in before tax-deadline (12/31). I'm very likely flying out to get it. The problem is that until Ford *really* releases the truck, everyone but Ford is powerless to do a thing about it.
