Has anybody considered installing extra LED's behind the front grill?
When I look closely, the 3 stock LED's are placed in oval shaped cutouts which the lights reside in... opposed to the rest of the holes which are rectangular.
So, I know that the stock LED's wouldn't fit perfectly, but I bet that adding two additional stock LED's and securing one on each far side (5 slots over) would give you a total of 5 LED's on the front grill and look better than the 3.
Also, I haven't undone the screws holding the LED's in place, but it looks like the posts are directly screwed into the back of the grill... so, you might have to drill a couple small holes to mount the additional LED's.
As I said, it wouldn't be a perfect fit, and splicing into the two wires on the existing side lights... I wouldn't think that would be a problem, there just LED's that don't draw that much power.
What do you think?
That, or I thought about installing a Red LED in the middle of the grill in one of the only 2 small square holes on that grill... right between the O and the R... Kind of a "Knight Rider" thing.
