Default Anyone here into classic (65-70) modded Mustangs?
I have a 68 vert with a 428 and I am starting to look into suspension, steering and brake upgrades.

I am looking to make this a restomod so I am upgrading almost everything. I am looking into a manual rack and pinion, coliover front suspension, a coliover 3 or 4 link rear suspension, 4 wheel power disc brake conversion and a auto to 5 or 6 spd conversion.

I was just wondering if anyone here has done this and can give me some input as to what companies have good quality parts and any companies I should stay away from.

Thanks

I went with wildwood 6 piston on the front and 4 piston on the rear, you need to adapt the emergency brake with one from a Ford Explorer, any decent hotrod shop can set you up with the proper parts. Did this on my 69 fb also went efi with msd system as it was the only one which would still allow me to utilize my stock hood after I dropped a 427 with a high rise . Also went with a complete vintage air system, slick install! Post some pics dude!

So far I have been looking into products from Street or Track and Total Control Products. I am just wondering if their are other companies I don't know about.

The starting list: (that I need new parts for)

All new electrical (painless harness kit)
Front Coliover (currently stock)
Rear Coliover with a 3 or 4 link (I already have a ford 9")
Tremec 5 or 6 speed (auto to manual conversion)
Manual rack and pinion steering conversion (currently stock 68 power asst)
Tilt steering column (currently stock)
4 wheel power disc brake conversion (currently have manual front disc rear drum)
