@RDFTS @SDHQJASON I have the 12.9 HD Alignment Cam Kit and Doubler Plates installed. The doubler plates were painted with flat black Rustoleum. The alignment cam hardware is plated. Has anyone noticed any corrosion? I'm just seeing if I should coat the exposed hardware with something like Amsoil MPHD to prevent corrosion while the hardware is still new and in good shape. Any input would be appreciated especially from those that have dealt with intermittent salt and sand usage.

You shouldn't NEED to coat the hardware as it is already Zinc coated. But, I have seen road salts, debris, etc eat through the plating fairly quickly so a coating of the Amsoil MPHD wouldn't hurt anything. @Vash

I have not but then again I have done a poor job prepping my truck for winter anyways even though I have MPHD and BioShield. :-(

Quick question I got these a while back and of course threw out the paper they came with. I am going to take my truck in for service and pretty sure its gonna need an alignment, anyone have the paper with instructions and torque specs for the bolt that they can post an image of that i can download?

Hey is this a dumb question? Aren't these exactly the same as the SPC heavy duty 86252 kit?

Just wondering if there's a difference and if I should sent back my SPC kits?

The kits that we sell are the SPC HD kits.

Cool, thank you. I used the spc kit on my old fx4, tough little kit. I painted the new kit with black rustoleum to help keep it looking nice
