Why lower 1"? Why not just make stock height?

There are already quite a few companies who make the stock height shackle. We wanted to also fill a void and the requests of people wanting to lower the rear more.

Will these work on Gen 1 as well?

What is the impact on ride quality on otherwise stock rear suspension? Firmer initial movement because in a higher compression zone?

These will not as the bolt size is different on the shackle
