One last question, and I appreciate you guys helping me out.

Looking at a camping trailer, a Jayco 19ft, which comes in about 5,000lbs GVW.

With my current 4Runner, I'd be up against the limit. But a 2014 SCREW shows 8,000lbs towing.

How does the raptor do with a 19ft trailer at 5,000 lbs? Would I need to go to a WDH or will the stock hitch work?

It wouldn't do this "frequently", but it would do it 5-6 times a year for a couple hundred miles and perhaps 1 (ever) cross country trip (4,000 miles)

Thanks!

Get the WDH, it's not that expensive and it will help with the squat. Your truck will do fine pulling that trailer.
