Where to start?...

Well the wife and I are leaving March 9th for three years to Guam. Should I order a 2012 Raptor at the end of the ordering cycle or should I risk trying to wait and order one about 5 months before I get back? I just don't know how long the Raptor will be in production. I prefer a new one cause I am OCD about my vehicles and the maintenance and etc... I am a helo mech in the Navy so it rubs off onto the trucks haha. If I order one in September it would be sitting for 2+ years and I don't want it to rot away. While in Guam I am going to be deployed at least twice and I plan on putting down a big enough down payment so that my payments are around 500 a month. My build and price Raptor on Ford's website came out to 53,900 dollars. Add on to that the front mount camera which there is no option to select it on fords website so I don't know how much it costs. Sorry for the long read! Please help me with the decision!

How long will the Raptor be in production!!??

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Since you are active duty, order it while you are stationed at Guam. I don't believe anybody will be able to beat the price you'll able to get it through using Base Exchange sales while stationed overseas. Or consider using USAA buying services; that how I attained my Raptor.

Good Luck with your assignment and thanks for your service.

NO THANK YOU!

I plan on using the exchange services when I do buy. I just don't know if they will continue the Raptor all the way to 2015. I don't mind ordering a 2014 and just let it sit a month or two but I just don't know how long the production run will be. I don't see it stopping though because Ford is making a killing on the Raptors.

That is an option but I don't want to have the truck sitting for a year or so till I get back. Also I don't want a 2013 cause knowing my luck cause of the unlucky number it will be a lemon and have 500 problems haha.
