I am looking at pulling the trigger on purchasing a 2010 SCAB with the 6.2L and 35K miles on it and was wondering if I should have any concerns purchasing one with an Air raid CAI (seen in engine pic), No visible exhaust pipe and warranty expired for all owners (shown on carfax)? It is listed for 38K and all though I have no problems with some aftermarket parts being added will I be able to get a Ford ESP for it or due I go owner assumed risk?

Thanks in advance for your help!

2013 SCab Raptor 23,000 miles
$40,500 — Milwaukee, Wi
Selling my baby because I am going to be leaving the country for a few years and can't afford to bring her with. Truck has been meticulously maintained. Just got a fresh set of OEM BFG AT KO's, air filter, and sparkplugs. Truck is unmodded and his been my pride and joy. Accident free and I am the original owner (special ordered it from my local dealer summer of '13). Truck has always been stored in the winter and has never seen road salt.

38 is kinda high. I have the same year with 20,000 miles less and I was actually offered 39,800 from a dodge dealership in my town earlier this year. I was impressed being it coming from a dealer but for one with 35k miles going for 38 it better be nicely setup. CAI no problems, cat back delete kinda weird. What other modifications have been done? Most logical decision would be to look into some of these 13's being mention on here.

I don't think you will be able to get esp as the bumper to bumper warranty has expired but I could be wrong!

Thanks for the help- I go back and forth on a SCAB/SCREW but the overall goal is to get something in the 37-40K range with less than 40K miles (I know -- good luck with that). It does appear to be more supply hitting the used lot's lately and I wonder with the new 2017 coming out in the next 18 months is the driving force!

I went on Cars.com and searched all the raptors for sale in the country and all I can say is holy shit these things are going up in price. I bought my 11 loaded SCAB last year for 37k w/ 50k miles. Even 5.4l scabs with 60k+ are going for high 30's.

Also if anything the supply of used is going down because now there is no more being made until Fall of 2016 so therefore there is no more turnover of used to new. For the next year expect to see prices be a little wacky and dealers are going to be more stubborn to sell because they know someone will pay close to what they're asking. Until trade-ins start happening for 17 Raptors don't expect a downswing in the market because they are all used vehicles now.

Overall remember just to patient and find the one you want to just about all your preferences. Good luck.
