Buying a new Vehicle for it's "Resale Value " is the worst investment portfolio anyone could ever conceived.
As much as I am a fan of the V8, the EB is here til something else comes along.
What is conceivable, is the possibility of Ford offering the 5.2 / 6.2 L V8 as a special order to Shelby / Roush in the near future.
The Shelby GT 350 Mustang is a good example. And! Maybe, an F150 Lighting with a Burr up it's ass!
Mopar has been pushing the envelope of high HP once more, which makes you wonder what's on the horizon

FCA is broke and the cheapest way to make an outdated, 1990s chassis exciting was to strap an obscenely excessive blower to it. FCA's CEO admitted they don't have the cash to develop modern cars and is why they considered selling Jeep to the Chinese. Mopar is playing the only card they have and don't expect anyone to follow them. Especially when Ford's CEO got canned for not being forward thinking enough.
