Lmao I hope this isn't the real reason why my fiance is marrying me 😂😂 you'll get there man, just better to have patience. If I could do it all again, I definitely would have saved up some more for a down payment. But don't walk into that dealership til you're ready, not unless you got the willpower of Hercules to walk away

Yep, income potential, but let's save that for the "Talk me out of marriage before it's too late" thread. Jk

First statement----- True, good luck.
Second statement---- Bullshit! If it's just a F150, why did you pay all that extra money for a Raptor and not get just a F150?

I meant to say it's just a F150 (it's not going to appreciate in value, not a McLaren)

It won't cure your life's problems or make you any cooler, or get you laid with no STDs. It's not all glamour, the haters will still hate you.

But yeah, your right, my truck is no F150 (But the OP is young an impressionable so we must apply bullshit logic in small dabs)

To me the only young people (20's) that have the fabled Raptor are either:
1. Military
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Engineering kiddos
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Daddy swiped the credit card
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To quote one of my favorite movies The Girl Next Door, "Always know if the juice is worth the squeeze".....at this age when you are weak financially, what are you willing to give up for a truck? What is it worth to you? But I would say get it before you have kids or get married or it is far less likely you will find funds for such things....

Don't forget about all the young people working in the oil mines. It's where I ended up and a person who's hard working, has common sense, and is willing to sacrifice a lot of personal time will easily make 100k a year. I was beyond that when I reached 24. A lot of my buddies who finished school (I didn't) went into the oil and gas industry. In most cases, their degree is in no way related to what they're doing, but it helped them land a great job with a great salary. If you're like me and don't like an office job, then you can easily double or triple those salaries. I love my job, work a great schedule, and drive my raptor daily the way it's meant to be driven . Only thing about this field is that you've gotta be disciplined and save because there are ups and downs. Some people are affected and some aren't. It mostly depends on the employers ability to quickly adapt to market changes.

That's part of my reasoning for looking at Raptors, they are (in a way) just f150s not corvettes. I hope they depreciate with the new 2017 coming out, hopefully down to mid 20s.

I meant in the eyes of the public, I'm not gonna be another kid with a sports car, they'll just be like oh he's got a truck he must be practical. Little would they know, haha.
