Every time I come to a stop it downshifts
So hard I feel like I got rear ended.
Dealership says they can't figure it out.

Need help.

It's kind of a long shot but try cleaning the mass air flow sensor if all the basic stuff has already been tried. Good luck.

I had the same problem with my older Ford with an E4OD in it. It was a bad transmission circuit in the ECM. The tranny defaults to max line pressure if it isn't given any input to save it's self. Max pressure makes downshifts and upshifts at no load seem brutal. I'd start with whatever computer controls the tranny or tranny control module. Good luck.
