I found out that I'm missing bottom bolts and the stud bolt for the two ground wires was loose.
Well I was able to get the bolt info from my dealer (M8- 35 mm long).
But he said there are three bolts in the parts diagram, two regular and one stud.
I can only get my hands so far, I cannot feel the third bolt or the hole if that one fell out too.

Can anyone confirm?

Thanks, my stud bolt is in the middle location and I cannot get my fingers to the very top of the starter. Damn cat and O2 sensor is in the way.l
I may have to go from the wheel well.
I'm going to have to find my dentist mirror, I will try again tomorrow.

Did you ever have any work done in that area, or should we all check our bolts?

LOL, I may have to leave the top one alone for now as well.
I need the mirror, seven or so extensions a few swivels, just by quickly looking at yesterday.

One lesson Ford should take from GM, two 1/2" bolts from the bottom up.

Top bolt can be a bitch but with the right extensions and knuckles you can get to it pretty easily.

When my starter "failed" at havoc, I found one bolt missing and another one half way backed out.

Ford had 2 bolts for years, don't know why they changed. My Stang only has 2 bolts.

I tried YouTube to find an easy way out but the Raptor is way different than all those F150 vids.
I wish we had all that room!
