Rear defroster not working

Fuse is the easiest.

Does pulling the fuse kill the heated mirror

Contacts on slider not making connection, we replace at least 1 rear glass a week, sometimes you can tweek contacts on slider itself but can damage plastic cover taking it off

There is plug to the heating elements on each side of the window. Unplug them. This will also allow you to use your heated mirrors as well. You will loose the indicator light on the dash but they will still work. No more worries about the back window busting and retain the heated mirrors.

Do you have any pics of this or insight of how to remove the plastic?

Contacts are under plastic cover on middle slider ,what would be lock on manual slider, no special way to remove just has a tendency to break. Not to technical to show pics.need to learn to post from my phone.
