So after my first trip to the desert I noticed that the right side of the bumper had raised up more than the left side. After the trip this past weekend I looked again and found that it had raised up even more and made slight contact with the bed rail on the side, some minor scratches. I'm taking it in tomorrow to have the bumper realigned.

Question, short of an aftermarket bumper is there any way to keep this from happening when offoading? I imagine it's from dropping down 3-4 feet steeply in to washes and the like and the bumper is making contact with the ground.

Any advice is much appreciated.

PS I used the search function to see if there was a thread on this issue and didn't find one.
