Has anyone had this problem? At least I assume it's a problem, and I assume I need to take it to the dealer. When I close my power mirrors the driver's side glass part of the mirror makes contact with the truck. I THINK it's supposed to level out before closing, then return to position once I open it, but the glass doesn't move at all and therefore ends up locking up against the truck and making a clicking noise. I caught it on video. I don't think the passenger side does this.

It's just the way you have the mirrors angled. They don't go to "center" and then fold. They just fold. Mine do this, both sides. I've gotten in the habit of moving mine down to push the bottom of the glass in before folding and then I just thwap my memory seat button to move them while I sit in the truck and let the RPM's come down off the initial start.
Another thing that I notice when they touch the truck and the mirror position is saved in memory -- when you use the keyless entry keypad on the door and the mirrors are folded in, they will click, click, click, click, trying to move to the saved position. Since your (and mine) saved position is outside the limits of the fold and it contacts the truck - that's what happens.

This seems pretty stupid and potentially damaging over time! I'm not sure if I'm relieved or not.
My 2011 SCREW has all sorts of issues with the mirrors. I've walked back up to my truck and I can hear them going click, click, click just trying to power themselves into the door and won't stop until I get inside and move the controller. Once that didn't work and I had to manually move the drives back to the normal driving position and then cycle them again to get the passenger mirror to follow. Sometimes they don't want to fold in at all. So, I just go park somewhere else. I fold the mirrors in for trail riding through bushes and most of the time they work fine while I'm driving.
The truck has other electrical gremlin's that the dealer can't seem to fix. My Brake Light, Hill Decent, Traction Control and more have come on a half dozen times. Each time I am in the dealer they try to blame it on me. They have never once giving me a repair order or anything to sign. They take the truck in the back and keep it for a couple hours. Once they replaced the drivers side speed sensor and gave me the truck back saying it also needed a passenger side speed sensor and it must be the way I've been working on the truck or driving it. The second speed sensor did nothing and the mechanic now says the computer says it lost communication with the power steering pump and he had to reboot everything - now it's working again. It happened again a month later and they kept it for a couple days and called me to say a fuse was missing and it was my fault. They wanted me to pay. I swore I never even opened that fuse panel and I refused to pay. I got the truck back and it is fixed for now. Still never seen any paperwork from the dealer. But, here is another issue they can't seem to fix, my warning "Trailer Disconnected" comes on a few times a week and since it doesn't come on and stay on the dealer said that they can't fix that problem.
Don't even start me on the Sync or Voice control I gave up on that feature a long time ago!!! I know some trucks ordered showed up without the Navigation unit because of the Tsunami in Japan. Mine was very close to being one of those trucks and all I can think of is maybe mine is in Japanese - because it sure doesn't understand English, Spanish or Chinese - I've tried all those....

You must be tall? I'm 6' 4", so that's why mine are angled up so high so my eyeballs can see through them!
Exactly right!

Try angling the mirror more, I bet it will touch. If I lower my mirror it will look like yours - really close but no touchy - which is where I would think it SHOULD be.
