GEN 2 Overheating

I got a 2017 with 277 miles on it. Went to start it in the garage where it had been parked for 4 days and the engine light was on and temp read that it was overheating, plus it ran rough. Had it towed to the dealership and it's pretty much torn apart with no fix in sight. Has anyone experienced this?

sounds like it is in ‘limp home’ mode due to some fault. could be a sensor fault, harness burned through - that’s happened here, or possibly a mechanical failure. The latter seems very unlikely.
