Moon roof noice

I own a 2017 and now that it's getting colder, my moon roof is making a rubbing/squeaking sound when I hit a bump while driving on the road. I open and close the moon roof and the sound goes away. I have no leaks or anything like that. Is it because of the cold and it's affecting the rubber seal? Should I be worried or is this a common thing?

Not sure but I would think a bit of silicone spray on rubber would work

that might be worth mentioning to the dealer. I am in mid Atlantic and not as cold but definitely some chilly trips and nothing like you’re mentioning. it does sound like it’s not getting a perfect ‘seal’ when closing from your description.

Here is how you fix it. Silicone spray is not the solution.
