Hey guy, Took my truck in for some service today. Basic stuff but also have a leaking Pinon seal.

Truck timed out on bumper to bumper warranty.

Service adviser called me after I left and told me that the pinon seal would not be covered. I responded that I thought that should be included on power-train 5 year 60. Is that correct?

Also having them look at the 4wd system (typical IWE B.S) Is that included in power-train also?

If the power-train doesn't I understand and will gladly pay but the service adviser wasn't sure when I asked him. He was looking for me to simply roll over.

I would Like to be prepared when he calls back.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Subbing, wanna know too.

Service writer called back.

Rear Pinon seal is covered

doesnt know yet on IWE's. Tech cant get truck to replicate (of course) Wont know if they are covered until they diagnose. In reading the 5/60 warranty stuff I think they are. We will see if he can get them changed.

He mentioned that they have tons of trucks come in for the same thing.
