First, tha backstory. I dropped off my truck last night to get the steering alignment done as well as replace the battery terminals and the battery itself- it leaked acid and fried the terminal.
Anyways, I got a call an hour earlier from my mechanic telling me my driveshaft is cracked. While I do see a crack, I want to know what you guys think, what would have caused this? Is it ok to drive it like this within limits? It is an aftermarket driveshaft from dynotech and after all the abuse it got I honestly did not expect the crack from this part of the driveshaft!
