4WD not disengaging

Gents,

Just a quick FYI. If you are in 2WD and you can't accelerate without hearing ridiculous noises, put it in 4WD and see if it still happens. If it doesn't, then you need to check your 4wd vacuum hoses for leaks.

Vaccum hoses run from the brake booster to the wheel next to the brake line. Take off the hose from the booster and run a vaccum tester. If it's zero, then you know you have a leak. Run air through it until you find it!

Happened last weekend. Finding the leak was the hard part, fixing was easy!

Just for anyone that may be experiencing!

I could post pictures as a reference for anyone having the same problem. Know this has been touched on before, but wanted to hit it again. Don't drive like this! You'll destroy the hubs!
