GEN 1 ****NO SOUND****2010 Raptor - Problem with aftermarket Stereo/Nav System - - No Sound

I bought this unit. I have a 2010 Raptor Crew Cab with Sony sound.



It said it was compatible, I was going to sell it and upgrade to another Raptor, so I bought and installed. When I was done, It powered on fine and everything seemed to work but sound. Everything, Bluetooth, I even called my wife and she heard me with excellent clarity but I could not hear her

The factory system had 3 inputs in the back of the unit but the new one has 2. It comes with Sony sound, and I was told it may have to do with that. Perhaps some kind of bypass?

The factory system had 3 inputs but with the wiring that I had, I could only connect to 2, leaving one dangling, in the picture, it's circled in blue. Is that a problem? If so, what could help.

Clearly the wiring is off. See below pictures that are attached and if anyone has suggestions, It would be greatly appreciated.


The white wire harness that came with the unit is different and I have not seen any like it. I've never seen a harness with mostly female connectors.


IF anyone can offer up some help here. That would be great! I'd like to have sound back!

If you are trying to add your own amp you are going to have to take the signals off the existing sony amp under center console. I couldnt find a way to bypass it and have it work correctly. I fed the signals from that amp into the amp i have under my passenger seat. There is no need for a sound proccessor if done correctly as it pretty much eliminates that auto volume correcting. Made the stereo sound like it should have sount front the factory. However you will need to ditch those factory 6x8's they did not last very long after I added the amp. I run full alpine type r's in my doors and 2 kicker 12's in a custom box under rear seat. Sounds awesome.
