Had a little fender bender this morning, bumper held up great but the car I hit had the nerve to leave behind some of it's paint and scuff up the powder coat.

Could you guys tell me what I need to know about the hammered finish?

What is it called and can any powder coater do it? What's a reasonable price?

Is it even powder coat? If not, what is it?

Thanks in advance. I love my Venom. It sure takes a beating, on road and off.

Sorry to hear bout your accident bud. The hammer black is a powdercoat. You should be able to take it into any powder coater and they can tell you if they can match it for you.It shouldn't cost no more than a few hundred to strip it and re powder coat it.If they try to I would shop around a little bit first.

I would recommend pressing with doing the bumper in Line-X Premium, since I believe it will keep its shine alot longer than re-powder coating.
