Oh Crap!

Was traveling down two lane highway yesterday evening at about 60 MPH and met what appeared to be a house moving truck. The truck kicked up about a 4x6 block of wood that bounced off the highway and smacked my hood, then windshield and edge of my cab. After I ensured my pants were still clean I pulled over and observed the damage.



However last couple of truck washes were followed by Buttery Wax and HGG so after some light wax and light rubbing the following were the results.





One small place on the cab needs touch up paint.

I was told by my insurance agent that if something falls off a truck and hits your vehicle without hitting the ground then liability can be put on the driver of that truck. But if it hits the ground and then hits you, then you are most likely out of luck as supposedly it could of been avoided.

So, I know exactly what to say if anything hits my truck that came off another truck.

I asked a HS classmate that sells insurance, he said if it's in the air then it's comprehensive coverage but ultimately its up to the adjuster. When it happened to my prior truck they let it go as comprehensive.
