Use Adams vrt non all plastic trim before you wax helps a lot still get some white spots but also I was real careful came off easy with finger rub.

Believe it or not gently rub the wax area with a clean Magic Eraser I have cleaned more sloppy wax off my truck with that than the fingerprints on the walls in the house from the kids.

Magic eraser is abrasive BTW. Not too much, but that is how it works.
I tried everything for the exterior trim and the only thing that worked was McKee s 37 Wax remover for trim. It did in half an hour what 6 hours with all the other stuff didn't dent.
