noticed some small scratches in my drivers side window and windshield today. dont even show up in pics. (camera sucks) wipers probably caused the windshield one, the other probably from dirt accumulation between the door and window. dont catch with my fingernail, so not very deep. anybody have any luck with a product like this, or can recommend something better? little things like this bug the $hit outa me

Subbed. Got scratch but can feel with fingernail when ran across. Was in mud and passenger rolled down window, nice vertical scratches.

Glass is HARD stuff, considerably harder than normal clear coat!

Due to this, there are different products that can be used to polish glass...if the scratches are anything more than superficial. If they are very light, paint polishes are capable to taking them out with varied success.

If they are deeper, there's a product called cerium oxide that works well on glass when combined with a bronze wool pad. It's a very messy job...but your options are limited unfortunately.

I'd try a spot with something like our Paint Correcting Polish on a cordless drill, and then go from there.

I always heard good things about the Eastwood kit. Try researching it online.

i don't know if there's such a thing as "soft glass" but I've defintiely had more scratches on the windshield of my raptor than any other vehicle I've ever owned. And I don't take my truck serious offroading or mudding where there's dirt being swished across with the wipers. Just daily driver use, and in 2 years I have scratches on both sides from dirt under the wipers. I wash my truck ALLLLL the time too so not like it was from wiper neglect lol. They aren't really noticible but they're there and enough to bug me.

I know the factory tint in the rear windows isn't film like aftermarket but is it a coating on one side or does it go all the way through? I'd hate to polish out a scratch and gain a clear spot!
