Thats still a wastefully heavy mix. Overkill if you figure with a 32oz bottle on the foam cannon, 30% soap... thats almost 10oz of soap per wash. You might as well light a couple of dollar bills on fire while your at it.

A good soap should be able to generate lather comparable to what I had in that video with 2-3oz... even going to 4-5oz tops.

In the grand scheme of things, it's not that much money.

I agree... no one is (or should) go broke using too much soap, but we're talking about the difference of getting 12-13 washes out of a gallon or 64 washes out of a gallon. Wasteful is wasteful, even if its not expensive and I'd still like to see my $30-$40 worth of soap last awhile if it can.

Well if I weren't wasteful of money, I wouldn't have bought a $50,000 truck..

Having had a chance to drive a friends Raptor for a weekend... I would hardly call it a waste - for the amount of smiles that thing put on my face for a few days I'd say its a bargain at $50k. :)

Despite repeated requests my wife has refused to be a part of any foam cannon experiments so I cannot say... but I can say that its hilarious to surprise foam attack the neighborhood kids if they happen to ride their bikes past my driveway LOL HAHA! You can thank me later after you've had a chance to use them.
My wife volunteered! Foam cannon on order. Pics coming soon. :)

So been thinking about a gas pressure washer. Any suggestions on a decently priced gas pressure washer? Nothing huge as I only plan to clean driveway and wash truck with it. Nothing real heavy duty but dependable. In reading I can't seem to find a concensus on one or two products that stand out. Boy there are plenty of horror stories about pumps giving out in a few months though. I though perhaps as an expert you could point me in the right direction.

What's your budget? I have a Troy bilt 2800 from lowes that has done me well for over two years now. It was on sale for $250 at the time but I think they have a new model out so the old one I have seen on clearance at some stores.

Ryobi 3100 PSI 2.5GPM pressure washer. I've had mine for two years now and it's worked great. Don't get too close to the paint or you'll just blow a chunk right off. It idles the engine down when you let go of the trigger saving fuel and wear and tear. Honda engine starts every time first pull. $399 at Home Depot.

I would like to not spend more that 350.00 if I could help it. I thought it would be simple like a lawn mower till I started reading about all the pump failures and terrible service.
