Do you think these towels could be use to detail the interior?

I haven't had them long enough to tell if they lint or not, but barring a linting problem, they should be fine for interior use. I wouldn't use them on the soft plastics, like the gauges or any piano black trim, as it would probably leave small scratches. It would be fine for hard plastics and leather.

Have a few of these as well, I leave one in each door pocket for quick seat dusting etc while I’m filling up

Wish I would have seen this earlier. They look much nicer than the cheap Costco ones. I use them for wheels, tires, oil changes etc. just through them out. Wasteful I know.

What should you use to wipe of the gauge cluster screen if not a microfiber towel? Im definitely OCD about scratching the clear plastic as it ALWAYS seems to happen easily!

I wear glasses and always use the optical glass rated microfiber clothes. I have a bunch from my optometrist and leave a few in the center console for wiping the mirrors and instrument cluster. They work great.
