I have an extra one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BLVEX2M/?tag=fordraptorforum-20

see this thread http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f266/added-sub-52819/?highlight=added
works great for the Sony 802A system in the 2017 Rap or 2015-2017 F150.

short story long:
I thought I had a bad component, but traced my problem to a frayed ground cable. I kept the new Kicker, this is the one I pulled out, it still works fine.

$120 shipped to the lower 48. PayPal accepted, other payment methods would need to be discussed.

PM if interested.

Honestly, I don’t know as I didn’t own a gen 1.

Could it work? Sure, but what you have to purchase in addition is something I don’t have the answers to. In the linked thread, I sourced the info on parts / wiring from the f150 forum, which documented 2015-2017 Sony systems.

I’ve had subs in many vehicles, so sure it can be done.

Free bump for a great sub. I put this same one in my 2018. Paired with the recommended Kenwood (KAC-M3001) amp it’s awesome!
