Thanks, will measure it up today. Uses the bed mounting bolts I assume correct?

Yep two of the bed bolts and then you drill the other two holes and secure with bolts and washers. I have a some gorilla locks you can have too if it'll fit.

Looks like no dice, Gen 2 6 bolts 4 are 35 1/4 two in the back at 46.

Is it designed to only fit close to the cab? Or do you think it can be mounted on the side against the bed rails? I ask because I have a tool box up front. Thanks.

It's anchored by 3 bolts per cleat so I don't see why not. I actually got the idea from a side mounted folding option. You would probably have to make sure you got the right mounting area so it folded correctly but I think it's doable. Take a look at the pics that gave me the idea. They used straps instead of pins but very similar
