straight pip it? would that work or dose it need some back pressure

There should be some thought (size/curve) put into the down pipe right after the turbine on the turbo but after that alllllll straight pipe for the most hp. also where the exhaust exits on the vehicle. Like low pressure areas for scavenging purposes. Really for this truck it won't matter that much.

Yeah you could if you wanted to be cheap. You'd probably want to do a tune at the same time. Depends how picky the factory tune is in relation to exhaust.

Headers are really non existent. The current 3.5 ecoboost design uses a cast log manifold design. The style is durable, cheap, and keeps the distance that the exhaust has to travel before it hits the turbos short which is a big deal for efficiency. So really there no advantage to swapping them. I'd guess you'd need to step up to a considerably larger turbo (and boost) before the factory manifolds became a restriction. By then you'd be ass hole deep building the engine and everything supporting it.

Yes. According to Ford, anyway.

Even BMW does this for their turbo V6 M3s.

Sad.

I visualize it sounding like a overpriced Dyson vacuum cleaner sucking money out of EcoBoost Koolaid drinking suckers. Does it come with a 6.2? No cuz it's just another normal F150!

This Porsche Cayenne Turbo doesnt sound all that bad...Listen to the video on good speakers, not laptop or phone speakers and youll get a better representations of the lows in the video.
