Apple Link? What Apps cross over to display?

When my iphone is connected via cable the only app I see transfered is the Fordpass and Spotify?

When I go to settings to turn on apps, it says apps must be active on phone in order to see on the Ford screen.

Ive tried alot of other apps and never see them become active thru this link onto the Ford screen

anyone have any success w this?

Only specific apps that are approved and built for CarPlay can work this way, most are not. Spotify, iMessage, maps, and a bunch of music apps are.... you won't be able to get Pokémon to work.

Yea as pjones said it's up to Apple which apps are invited to use the Car Play apis. This means we'll probably never see google maps or waze on there [emoji23] Apple Maps has worked great for me on it as well as Music and iMessage. Much better than the built in nav for sure.
