Long story short I have a lightbar that came with my new bumper for my 2018 Raptor that I need to figure out how to wire.

Can I plug it in directly into the AUX 1 wire location? The lightbar says “Operating Voltage: DC10 30V”.

Any help is appreciated!

Its 10-30VDC so youll be fine.

Youll need to find a good good ground.

The positive can be routed to the AUX1 wire which should have plenty of juice. Make sure its the hot wire side and not the pass through bundle which looks identical. I would test with a meter to be sure.

What’s the amperage rating on the light bar? Aux 1 is rated up to 15 amps, anything over that and you will need to add a relay. If it under that you will be fine running it straight to Aux 1. I always use 12 gauge OFC wire, you can grab it at a stereo shop. Grab a couple butt connectors and shrink wrap and you should be off and running.
