New placement looks more convenient, plus two more!
Wonder if ford will improve the tie in location so your arm won't look like it went thru a meat grinder upon completion.

+1. I thought it was silly that Ford left the Gen 1 switch wiring disconnected behind the glove compartment. Soldering the ends together was a PITA due to the 1mm of wiring slack that Ford left back there. I'm hopeful that things will be better laid out this time.

I bet they don't run any wire and you will need to purchase the optional wiring harness and run it yourself, only to find out that they made it 1 inch too short to meet the wires going into the engine bay.

Haha probably. Don't forget the body control module would need reprogrammed after the wiring harness was ran. Common sense would be asking too much from Ford.

Still think the placement should of been on the dash within easy reach and eyesight. Don't need to be fumbling around.

I would like to have my primary off road lights on switches in the consol or dash. The headliner location is good for true aux stuff like on board air and rock lights type of things. Nice to see more switches.
