Hey guys M&R brings you the Gen2 dual 40" kit. Each light bar is 36x5w Cree LEDs. Should be on the market within a week or so. You will be able to get both white, both amber, or one of each. We are pricing it at $575 for the 2 light bars and all mounting hardware. As with all of our kits, there is no cutting or drilling required. The kit is a complete bolt on using factory openings and hardware.

Better pictures to come but this can get the thread started

Having just put some lights behind the grill, and reading that this is a true bolt on, I have to say that for the price, this sounds like a pretty doggone good deal.

Without an actual plan, I took the better part of 1.5 days to complete my light behind the grill project. My bet is this kit will significantly reduce the time expenditure. Seeing the brackets, I can kind of envision what M&R have done and it does look intriguing.

Well done.

Thanks a lot buddy. We dont want our customers to have more than 2 hours from start to finish :) We will try to make a great instruction manual to make it as painless as possible.

Under 2 hours? hmm...

Obviously I had to kind of wing it, with youtube videos and fortunately the base F150 grill assembly is very close. 2 hours might be clear for you mechanically inclined types, but for us shade tree, graduates of the Wile E. Coyote Schools of auto mechanics, 4-6 seems more reasonable.

Seriously though, this kit looks pretty sharp and for the price, I’d say not too shabby.

question: what is the trick with the headlight trim? I couldn’t get mine to re-clip the section that goes between the low and high beams. All the other clips worked, but I couldn’t get the clip between the 2 headlight beams (lenses? whatever) to clip again.

I’m looking forward to seeing some night shots of these lights bars.

I am very interested. I would love to hear what the lumen output is per bar.
