Got my 17 in an 801a with a bunch of goodies.

But why... Why do I not get a dampened tailgate for a 60,000 truck? Anybody else with an 801a that has a dampened tailgate? Did I get screwed?

Maybe it is just me, but not sure what you mean by dampened.

1. Why? Because.
2. Anyone else with 801A w/ Dampened tailgate? No. I have a '17 801A. Tailgate is 'Gravity Assist' version.
3. Screwed? Don't know, I was SCab'd...Didn't need backseat legroom this time.

You could of got the tail gate assist option. Or do it yourself.
