Wondered if anyone is running Toyo R/T 37/12.50/17 or 37/13.50/17 on the stock rims on their Gen 2 and how they compare to the BF's. Have heard they are much quieter on pavement.

Those are very heavy tires. A 37" version of them will beat the shit out of your shocks, bushings and bearings. If you plan to keep it long term, I wouldn't do it. If you are going to buy a new truck in 4 years, **** it- put em on.

It’s 12 lbs per tire or 48 pounds of unsprung weight. That’s like 400 pounds of sprung weight.

Unless you need to go big off road.

Don’t do it.

The C rated OEM KO2 probably weighs 61 pounds vs. 78 & 84 for the 37x12.5 and 37x13.5 Toyo RTs, respectively.

The MTs are even heavier.

I was under the belief, maybe hallucination, that the gen 2 oem tires were E rated; I'll have to run outside and take a look.

The stock tires are load range C. According to TireRack they weigh 65 lbs each. I replaced mine with the same size Duratracs that weigh 61 lbs each.
