I had Line-X installed a week after getting my truck, and I don't remember if the tailgate drops with the remote? Does it?

With Line-x, it no longer drops, just unlocks and I have to give it a nudge to get it to drop. Anyone know how to fix this? I couldn't see where it is binding.

Thanks

It's surely binding, it is really sensitive to having any resistance on it. Take a real close look and you'll prolly find some thick spot of Linex binding it.

So it does drop with the remote? Just want to make sure, since I don't remember.

I had the same problem. Had to apply pressure on the tailgate in order to get it open.
Solved the problem by removing the two rubber stops at the top edge of the tailgate. The additional thickness with linex in the bed and on the tailgate is over-compressing these rubber bumpers.
After removing them, worked like it was supposed to.
The linex on the tailgate and bed will stop the paint from rubbing.
